I'm glad you asked. During the pandemic and even before creator have taken to Gumroad in record numbers as a means to share their content with the world. With most things taking place online or in some type of virtual space in general. E-commerce companies like Shopify and Amazon, Shopify, and Alibaba have seen their companies explode as a result. Those companies because they are bigger tend to cost more and require more from creators to set up. Gumroad is one of a few options available to creators that is cheap, effective and easy to use. You don’t need a huge following or a large amount of start-up capital to create this extra stream of income.
